The home that Rising Moon Studio is in features an overnight retreat space that can also be rented. The retreat space includes four bedrooms, king bed (in a separate room), one queen bed + twin bed (in a shared room with an ensuite), two twin beds (in a shared room), bunk-bed + twin bed (in a shared room), two shared bathrooms, comfy couches, a gorgeous open-concept kitchen and an 8ft dining table!! The house sleeps 10 people in beds (more can be accommodated) This home has a collection of knick-knacks from all over the world. We, the owners of this home love hosting and sharing our travel finds with others! Rising Moon Studio is a toxin-free environment. There are no unnatural scents or chemicals used on the property. All of the rooms include organic bedding and pillows that are most often dried in the sun! They also include high-quality towels, eco and human-friendly soap, shampoo and lotions. All of the products used on the property are handcrafted and made with love.

Rising Moon Studio is a gathering place. We wanted to create a space where anyone and everyone can gather. We are located on a beautiful acreage just minutes from Edmonton and Sherwood Park. The studio has an abundance of unique features such as skylights, a circular wood-burning stove and a peaceful view of a pond surrounded by forest. With the number of windows in the studio, you truly feel like you sitting in the middle of nature.

The name Rising Moon Studio came to us through our own exploration with ups and downs, we have quickly come to understand the similarities between humans and the moon. We all have days that we shine brightly and we all have days that we don’t shine at all, we are constantly growing, evolving and changing. We understand the importance and beauty of living a cyclical life. In our lives, we go through many phases and we feel it is so important to learn from those phases and changes.
